The Ai SolventVap series 20L rotary evaporators is now ETL tested to UL/CSA standard. This certification is required by many municipalities, and it also provides a higher standard of equipment safety and lifespan. Also come standard is the new plexglass bath cover. Specially designed for Ai 20L SolventVap rotary evaporators, this beneficial cover securely rests on top of the water bath and ensures the best possible temperature uniformity.
SolventVap rotary evaporators come with all PTFE valves for solvent-resistant operations. We also lowered the height of assembled unit, for easy installation and ease of use and storage. Also comes with them are vertical glassware and digital temperature/rotation control. Its optimized bath volume allows for rapid heat-up times. The condenser unit has specially designed glass tubes that utilize surface area extremely efficiently. That’s why our SolventVap evaporators consistently deliver reliable and reproducible process results that are usually reserved for more costly systems. Another important aspect of the SolventVap is the safety features, which includes dry-run protection, water bath over-temperature shut-off protection, and fuse protection.
Rotary evaporator features a specially designed motor and worm gear, which provides constant rotation at speeds from 10 to 130 rpm. As the flask containing the solvent is rotated, it continually transfers a thin layer of liquid over the entire inner surface. This gives a very large surface area for evaporation, which is caused by the gentle heating from the water bath. The rotating system is fitted with a special seal that allows the apparatus to be placed under vacuum, effectively reducing the boiling point of the solvents and removing the vapor phase, making the process much more efficient. Each unit is also equipped with an easy-to-use vacuum release and a continuous feed system, which allows solvent to be constantly drawn into the rotating flask without needing to stop the operation.
Digital water bath operates from ambient temperature to 99°C (210°F) with PID temperature control stepping at 0.1°C increments. Heating coils are located directly inside the pan for the most efficient heating possible. A built-in overheat protector will shut down power, should the controller fail.
Standard Glassware Set includes 5.28 gallon (20 liters) round-bottomed evaporating flask, 2.64 gallon (10 liters) round-bottomed receiving flask, and vertical condenser. Rotary evaporators with vertical glass condenser are great for distillation of solvents with higher boiling points.

RETURN POLICY
*Proof of Purchase is your original invoice which should be retained in the event that a warranty claim is necessary.
*By placing an order with Xtractor Depot either online, in-store, or via phone, you indicate that you have read and agree to the following return policies. Note: Returns must meet ALL criteria.
*We do NOT accept returns for customized items. Xtractor Depot in its sole and absolute discretion shall be the sole determiner of whether a product is in fact defective.
*No returns on all glassware.
*No return on gas or liquid solvents.
*Starting from the date of delivery, you will have 48 hours to open and inspect all purchased products. Any missing pieces must be reported during this time period, otherwise, Xtractor Depot will not be held responsible. If anything is missing, please contact our customer service rep at (888)-733-2712.
*You have 7 calendar days from the date your shipment was delivered to request an RMA if the item is damaged or incorrect. If the item is returned during this time frame, we will exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method. For products verified to be defective, Xtractor Depot will supply a prepaid shipping label along with an RMA number (return merchandise authorization).
*Products should be returned unused and in the original condition, they were received. This includes all accessories, manuals, manufacturer’s crate/boxes, packing materials, etc. Returns received that have been used or with missing components or modifications will be refused and returned to you at your cost and without credit approval. You will be responsible to ensure adequate packaging on all return shipments. If the shipment is damaged in transit to Xtractor Depot, you will be responsible for the loss of any non-defective items.
*For non-defective products, a 25% restocking fee will apply and you will be responsible for the cost of the initial shipment and return shipment after 14 days. For products verified to be defective, Xtractor Depot will be responsible for your return shipment and the shipment of replacement items.
*If a defect is found to not be the fault of Xtractor Depot, warranty work will be quoted and authorized by the customer, to be paid by our accepted payment methods. The unit will be repaired and shipped back to the customer within 7 business days from the time of customer authorization.
*Shipping freight charges for work not performed under warranty is the customer's responsibility and will be provided in the warranty repair work quote.
*The unit will be considered "abandoned" after 45 days following notification of repair options and maybe re-purposed or discarded.
*All warranties are void on all of our equipment that is used with power converters, or when they come standard as 110/120V power and are used outside the US or Canada no exceptions. Owning a power converter does not mean it can handle the load necessary to operate our electronics safely. Please inquire with Xtractor Depot prior to purchase to see if we approve the converter.
