Usama is a registered Professional Engineer and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He has 6 years' industry experience designing pressure vessels and heat exchangers, among other mechanical components.
Usama is an adjunct faculty member at California State University, Los Angeles, where he has taught for the past five years.
Usama has been published multiple times in peer-reviewed journals and spoken at conferences in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Acoustics, Controls, and Renewable Energy.
Usama loves sports and likes to spend his free time watching the Dodgers, Lakers, Kings, and Saints.
