Flanged PTFE envelope gaskets with peroxide-cured EPDM filler provide the chemical versatility of PTFE with the memory and temperature performance of EPDM. This construction helps reduce product contamination, service interruptions, and cleanup costs associated with standard elastomer seals.
These gaskets are also a better option than standard PTFE gaskets when slight ferrule misalignment is present.
Storing PTFE with EPDM Filler Envelope Gaskets
- Shelf life: 10 years from cure date
- Store in original packaging in a clean, dry warehouse
- Do not expose to direct sunlight
- Keep more than 6 ft. away from electric motors
- Maintain temperature between 65°F and 85°F
