UltraClear S is a naturally occurring attapulgite that has been thermally processed to create hard, durable granules that resist swelling or breakdown when exposed to water. The material features a large, highly active surface area, enabling efficient adsorption performance. UltraClear S is effective at removing color bodies, surfactants, water, free fatty acids, organic oxides, and other polar contaminants from a wide variety of oils, liquids, and waxes.

Compared to UltraClear, UltraClear S has a smaller particle size and increased surface area, allowing for enhanced adsorption efficiency and, in many applications, greater bleaching performance.
