Handling & Storage

HANDLING
Operate the ChemTek H55 Centrifuge on a stable, level surface with adequate clearance for ventilation and service access. Always distribute samples evenly and balance opposing containers by weight before operation. Ensure containers are properly seated and the rotor/chamber is secured before starting a cycle.


STORAGE
When not in use, disconnect power and keep the centrifuge in a clean, dry, temperature-controlled environment away from excessive moisture, dust, corrosive chemicals, and direct heat. Clean spills or residue promptly and inspect the rotor, containers, and internal components regularly for wear or damage.

Safety Notes

Operate the ChemTek H55 Centrifuge only with properly seated and weight-balanced containers. Never open or attempt to access the chamber while the rotor is moving, and discontinue use if excessive vibration, unusual noise, or visible component damage occurs. Disconnect power before cleaning, inspection, or maintenance, and follow the manufacturer’s operating procedures, load limits, and applicable facility safety requirements.
